Messages you haven't read in a project's team chat now reach you by email – one per conversation, sent once it goes quiet for a few minutes, never for anything you've already seen. Prefer fewer? Choose mentions only or turn chat emails off under Preferences → Notifications.

When a teammate, your assistant or a client on your share link comments on a design, everyone on the project now gets an email – one per round of feedback, with every comment in it and a button that opens the review on that version. Everyone decides for themselves under Preferences → Notifications, and resolving feedback now happens instantly.

Place text on a moodboard just like an image – in the same typeface as the title, any size, regular or medium, in a matching or custom color. Unpublished changes can now be discarded in one step, and position and size fields accept any number you type.

Delete moodboard images you no longer need, and delete draft moodboards together with their images – files are removed from storage, published versions stay untouched. Backgrounds now also come in white, black or any color you pick, and the text switches to light on dark backgrounds.

When you protect a public link with a password, Nebulist now suggests one made of four easy words – keep it, generate another or type your own. The password stays in your sharing settings, ready to show and copy, so you no longer need to note it down anywhere else. Passwords set before today can't be shown; change them once to see the new one.

Turn on “Show canvas boards” in your project's sharing settings and your public link gets a Canvas section: clients can open every board read-only, zoom around, and click a task on the board to see its details. Boards refresh on their own while open, and it works with password-protected links too. Also fixed: an unlocked password-protected link now shows the project's name in the browser tab.

With Agent Connect, your AI assistant can now read your project canvases and draw on them – boxes, labels, arrows and task cards, laid out neatly next to what's already there. Anyone with the board open sees its changes appear live, and it can never erase anything. Also fixed: when two people saved a board at the same moment, one person's latest changes could get lost – now both are kept.

When someone @mentions you in a project chat and you haven't seen it, you now get an email with their message and a button straight into the conversation – at most one per chat every 10 minutes, and you can switch it off under Preferences → Notifications. Your daily or weekly digest also lists the chat messages you haven't read, and an open conversation shows when a teammate is typing.

With Agent Connect, your AI assistant can now catch you up on what's unread in your projects' team chats and post for you – with @mentions that notify your teammates and task keys that turn into links. Its messages appear under your name with an agent badge, and it can never edit or delete a message.

Every shared project now has its own chat. Chat in the sidebar gathers all your project conversations in one place, with a count of what you haven't read yet. Type @ to mention a teammate – they get a notification – and # to link a task, which opens with one click. Both already show up as chips while you type – a task with its status and title – so you see what will link before you send. It's for the working team – the owner and members with edit or contribute access – so view-only members don't see it.

A shape on a board can now stand for an actual task. Select it and pick a task, or drop in a ready-made task card, and the shape gets a small label with the task number and its status. Click the label to open the task. From the task itself, the Attachments tab shows which boards it appears on and takes you straight to the right spot on the board.

Boards are now live for everyone in the project. Open the same board and you see each other's cursors with names, and every shape appears for all of you as it is drawn. Join late and you get the current state right away. The board list shows who is on which board. View-only members follow along live without being able to change anything.

Every project now has a Canvas area where you create named boards for architecture sketches, flows and planning sessions. Draw shapes, arrows, freehand lines and text, drop in images, and everything saves as you go. Export a board as PNG or SVG when you need it elsewhere. Anyone with edit or contribute access can draw; view-only members can look but not change anything.

An assistant connected through Agent Connect now sees design projects in full — every variant and version, the feedback on each one and who approved or requested changes — and can look at a revision itself where the assistant supports images. It can also respond: open feedback threads on a specific version, pin them to a spot on the image, reply and resolve. Agent feedback is marked with the agent chip; uploads and approvals still happen in Nebulist.

Design projects open in a gallery that shows every task by its newest design, with its review state at a glance. Arrange references on a moodboard canvas, save numbered snapshots and review them like any other design — pins, comments and approvals included.

Turn on design reviews for a shared project link and clients see the same variants, versions and feedback the team sees. Invite guest reviewers by email: they verify once, then comment, annotate and approve under their own name — no account needed. Shared projects can also be protected with a password.

A task in a design project now has a full review workspace. Upload variants and keep every version; compare two side by side. Reviewers pin comments, mark areas or draw directly on the image, reply and resolve. Project owners choose who may approve, and an approval is recorded for one exact version — so nobody ships the wrong file. Works on your phone, too.

Pro AI plans can now connect Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini or Cursor to Nebulist: create a connection under Preferences, paste the copied instructions into your assistant, and ask it about your projects or have it file tasks, notes and comments in the right place. It sees and can do exactly what you can — view-only projects stay read-only, nothing can ever be deleted, and everything it writes carries a small “via agent” label.

If you run a preview site alongside the live one, you can now say so. Each subproject gets its own release stages — Preview, Production, whatever you call them — with the version currently running on each. Tasks keep the single version field they always had, and the stage badge is worked out for you: a task marked 1.4.0 reads “Live” once Production is on 1.4.0 or later, and “Preview” while it's only out on preview. Deploy, bump one number, and every task badge moves at once — no going back through tasks one by one. Because stages sit on the subproject, two websites in one project can run completely different version lines without confusing each other. Turn on “Show versions & stages” in your share settings and clients see it all on the share link, including which stage each version is on. It stays off for existing links until you switch it on.

Work that's real but not right now no longer clutters your board. Set a task to On Hold and it moves into its own column at the end of the board, out of the way of what you're actually working on. The board now reads left to right as your actual pipeline — On Hold, Open, In Progress, In Review, Done — with the two states that aren't live work folded away as slim rails on either side. The board opens on the work in flight, the live columns get the full width, and each rail still shows how much is parked behind it. Click a rail to slide it open, click its header to fold it back. Held tasks stay fully editable and searchable, but they stop counting against you: they're left out of the progress bar, they don't show up in your dashboard queue, and they no longer warn you off marking a subproject as done.

Comments can now reference each other: hit the reply arrow on any comment to quote it in your answer. The reply shows a compact quote of the original — click it to jump right to it in the conversation. Everything stays in one clear stream, no nested threads. Works on shared project pages too, so clients can reply to your comments directly.

You can now drag tasks between the board columns to change their status — a plain click still opens the task. The board is also the default view now, in the app and on shared project pages; if you prefer the list, your choice is remembered per project. Task notes support links: paste or type a URL and it becomes clickable, opening in a new tab. On shared project pages, your own comments now stand out in their own color so clients can tell their messages from the team's, the board view uses the full width of large screens, and note links work there too.

Tasks can now be marked as In Review — for work that's finished building but still being tested or checked. The board gets a fourth column between In Progress and Done, and the new status shows up everywhere: lists, filters, shared project pages and email notifications. The board also adapts better to smaller screens (columns wrap instead of scrolling sideways), and long columns show the first 10 tasks with a "Show more" button.

Public share links got a big upgrade. Visitors can now switch between a list and a kanban board, and the task panel matches the app's new look — including formatted task notes with headings, lists and code blocks (when notes are enabled for the link). Also fixed: tasks with notes could fail to open on the shared page.

Every project now has a Resources page for project-wide files: brand guides, budgets, research and more, organized into categories you name yourself. Upload images and PDFs, preview them right in the app, and find the page next to the sub-project tabs. Uploads from teammates appear live.

Your dashboard now opens with what matters: changes from your team you haven't seen yet — with a one-click "Mark all as seen" — the latest comments across your projects, and your open tasks sorted into Overdue, Due today and In progress lanes. Everything opens the task directly.

Every project now has a Kanban board view next to the list: tasks grouped into Open, In Progress and Completed columns, with priority, category, due date and comments at a glance. Switch between list and board at the top of the task area — each project remembers your choice.

You can now attach images, videos and PDFs directly to a comment — paste a screenshot, drop a file, or use the paperclip. They show up right in the conversation and still land in the task's attachments, so nothing moves and nothing is duplicated. Clients viewing a share link see them too.

Finished subprojects can now be marked as done and moved to a project archive, so All Tasks only shows work that is still live. Nothing is deleted — the archive keeps every task, and reopening one brings its subproject straight back. Subprojects can also be renamed now: click the name in project settings.

Select multiple tasks at once to move, categorize, or trash them — with progress toasts so you know when it's done. A new category filter and open-task counts round out the project view.

Visitors on a public share link can now comment on tasks — no account needed — and your team gets notified. Share links also got shorter, readable URLs.

Share a read-only view of any project with clients or stakeholders via a secure link — no account required. You control whether notes are visible, and you can rotate or disable the link anytime.

Deleted tasks now go to a trash instead of vanishing. Restore them anytime within 30 days — after that they're removed automatically.

Nebulist got a completely new landing page, a slick sign-in dialog, and a redesigned sign-up. The site also detects your language automatically, with a switcher to change it anytime.

Task notes now use a modern block editor: drag blocks to rearrange, highlight text in color, and format your documentation exactly how you want.

Task descriptions support real formatting now — headings, lists, code, and more — instead of plain text.

A new attachments page lists every file uploaded across a project's tasks, searchable by filename — no more opening tasks one by one.

Get emails for project invites, comments, and status changes on your tasks — plus an optional digest that bundles updates. Every category can be controlled in your preferences.

Describe your work in plain words and Nebulist drafts a set of tasks with titles, descriptions, and subtasks — you review and adjust everything before it's created.
