If you run a preview site alongside the live one, you can now say so. Each subproject gets its own release stages — Preview, Production, whatever you call them — with the version currently running on each. Tasks keep the single version field they always had, and the stage badge is worked out for you: a task marked 1.4.0 reads “Live” once Production is on 1.4.0 or later, and “Preview” while it's only out on preview. Deploy, bump one number, and every task badge moves at once — no going back through tasks one by one. Because stages sit on the subproject, two websites in one project can run completely different version lines without confusing each other. Turn on “Show versions & stages” in your share settings and clients see it all on the share link, including which stage each version is on. It stays off for existing links until you switch it on.

Work that's real but not right now no longer clutters your board. Set a task to On Hold and it moves into its own column at the end of the board, out of the way of what you're actually working on. The board now reads left to right as your actual pipeline — On Hold, Open, In Progress, In Review, Done — with the two states that aren't live work folded away as slim rails on either side. The board opens on the work in flight, the live columns get the full width, and each rail still shows how much is parked behind it. Click a rail to slide it open, click its header to fold it back. Held tasks stay fully editable and searchable, but they stop counting against you: they're left out of the progress bar, they don't show up in your dashboard queue, and they no longer warn you off marking a subproject as done.

Comments can now reference each other: hit the reply arrow on any comment to quote it in your answer. The reply shows a compact quote of the original — click it to jump right to it in the conversation. Everything stays in one clear stream, no nested threads. Works on shared project pages too, so clients can reply to your comments directly.

A new button in the top bar shows you the latest features and improvements at a glance. A small dot lights up whenever something new has shipped since your last look — like right now.

You can now drag tasks between the board columns to change their status — a plain click still opens the task. The board is also the default view now, in the app and on shared project pages; if you prefer the list, your choice is remembered per project. Task notes support links: paste or type a URL and it becomes clickable, opening in a new tab. On shared project pages, your own comments now stand out in their own color so clients can tell their messages from the team's, the board view uses the full width of large screens, and note links work there too.

Opening a task note no longer hides the activity timeline. On a wide screen the task panel widens and the note opens as a third column on the right, so you can read the comments while you write. Close the note and the panel slides back to its normal width.

Tasks can now be marked as In Review — for work that's finished building but still being tested or checked. The board gets a fourth column between In Progress and Done, and the new status shows up everywhere: lists, filters, shared project pages and email notifications. The board also adapts better to smaller screens (columns wrap instead of scrolling sideways), and long columns show the first 10 tasks with a "Show more" button.

Attached images now show a small thumbnail in the comment box before you send, and no longer flicker when the comment is posted. On shared project pages, clicking an image or file in a comment opens the full-screen preview instead of a new tab.

Public share links got a big upgrade. Visitors can now switch between a list and a kanban board, and the task panel matches the app's new look — including formatted task notes with headings, lists and code blocks (when notes are enabled for the link). Also fixed: tasks with notes could fail to open on the shared page.

Resource categories can now hold formatted notes alongside images and PDFs — for briefings, research findings or decisions that don't belong to a single task. Notes use the same rich editor as task notes. On large screens, opening a note, image or PDF docks it in a panel next to the list so you can read it side by side with your resources. Changes from teammates appear live.

Every project now has a Resources page for project-wide files: brand guides, budgets, research and more, organized into categories you name yourself. Upload images and PDFs, preview them right in the app, and find the page next to the sub-project tabs. Uploads from teammates appear live.

Your dashboard now opens with what matters: changes from your team you haven't seen yet — with a one-click "Mark all as seen" — the latest comments across your projects, and your open tasks sorted into Overdue, Due today and In progress lanes. Everything opens the task directly.

Opening a task now shows a wide two-part panel: details, notes, files and subtasks on the left, and the conversation always visible on the right — no more switching tabs to see comments. Notes open in place, comments send with Enter, and the whole panel follows the app's new softer look. On phones everything stacks neatly.

Board cards got a redesign: shorter cards show the task number, due date, subtask progress and attachment and comment counts in one line, so more tasks fit on screen. Columns and tabs lost their border lines in favour of soft tonal surfaces, and the sub-project and view switchers are now clean pill controls. The separate project attachments page has been retired — files live on their tasks, and project-wide resources are coming as their own space.

On the Kanban board you can now change a task's priority and category right on the card, the way the list view already worked — no need to open the task first. Cards also carry a coloured left edge showing their priority, which turns green once the task is done.

The board and the task list now use the full width of a large monitor instead of stopping short, fitting more cards side by side as the screen grows. Text across the app renders lighter and crisper, and the board and list toolbars now look and behave the same.

Nebulist got a visual refresh: a crisper typeface throughout, more breathing room on the Kanban board with color-tinted columns, a bolder project header, cleaner subproject tabs, and the sidebar now identifies projects by their initials.

Every project now has a Kanban board view next to the list: tasks grouped into Open, In Progress and Completed columns, with priority, category, due date and comments at a glance. Switch between list and board at the top of the task area — each project remembers your choice.

The sidebar now stays visible as a slim icon rail and expands the moment your cursor touches it — no more clicking to open it. Move the cursor away and it slides back out of the way, or pin it to keep it open. Your content keeps its full width either way.

You can now attach images, videos and PDFs directly to a comment — paste a screenshot, drop a file, or use the paperclip. They show up right in the conversation and still land in the task's attachments, so nothing moves and nothing is duplicated. Clients viewing a share link see them too.

Finished subprojects can now be marked as done and moved to a project archive, so All Tasks only shows work that is still live. Nothing is deleted — the archive keeps every task, and reopening one brings its subproject straight back. Subprojects can also be renamed now: click the name in project settings.

Completed tasks now visually fade into the background so open work stands out. Task lists also show a version column and the subproject each task belongs to.

New notes no longer flash twice while being created, and the activity feed shows the note's actual title instead of a placeholder.

A full mobile checkup: project pages scroll properly again, headers and buttons adapt to small screens, and everything is easier to tap.

Nebulist now opens with your data already in place — no more loading flash. Pages transition with a subtle fade, and search results list matching projects above tasks.

When your role in a shared project changes, you see it immediately — no reload needed. Members with Contribute access can edit any task again, as intended.

A round of under-the-hood security improvements keeps your projects and data even safer.

The dashboard got a fresh editorial look — a personal greeting, today's date, and one focused column instead of crowded stat cards. Task and note editing picked up refinements too, including rich text in the create dialog.

The sidebar now floats above your content and tucks itself away when you don't need it — more room for your tasks on every screen size.

When someone changes their display name, the new name now appears everywhere right away — in activity, comments, notes, and avatars.

Changes to priority, category, and subproject now show up in the activity feed and in your email digest — so you always know exactly what changed.

A new priority filter joins status and category in every task list. Loading more recent tasks on the dashboard now works reliably, too.

Select multiple tasks at once to move, categorize, or trash them — with progress toasts so you know when it's done. A new category filter and open-task counts round out the project view.

Activity events are now color-coded cards with icons, so you can scan what happened at a glance. You can also edit your own comments inline, and comments post instantly.

Public share links now show a proper preview image in chat and social apps, and due dates no longer shift by a day in some timezones.

Visitors on a public share link can now comment on tasks — no account needed — and your team gets notified. Share links also got shorter, readable URLs.

Type a task's number — like WEB-12 or just 12 — into the command palette to jump straight to it. Signing in and out feels faster, too.

Smoother scrolling in the task view, compact project headers, no more unwanted zoom when typing on iOS — plus a show/hide toggle on password fields.

Share a read-only view of any project with clients or stakeholders via a secure link — no account required. You control whether notes are visible, and you can rotate or disable the link anytime.

Deleted tasks now go to a trash instead of vanishing. Restore them anytime within 30 days — after that they're removed automatically.

Nebulist got a completely new landing page, a slick sign-in dialog, and a redesigned sign-up. The site also detects your language automatically, with a switcher to change it anytime.

A new filter option hides completed tasks from any list, so you can focus on what's still open.
